1. Data controller and contacts
The data controller is Giovinco Pieroeugenio, based at contrada Indovina Zona 11, 92017 Sambuca (AG), VAT no. 03054820844, tax code GVNPGN95T22C286U, which presents its business under the GIOVÌ · Azienda Agricola brand.
For information on data processing and privacy requests you can contact the company by email or by phone at +39 333 617 6379.
2. Data processed
Contact requests may contain your full name, email address, topic, message text and any information you choose to share. Please avoid entering sensitive data or information not needed for your request.
While you browse, the services that make the website available may process technical data, such as IP address, device information and access logs, to deliver and protect the service, as described in section 6.
3. How the form works
The fields are validated in the browser and then sent to the website server, which delivers the message to the company email through the platform’s email service and sends you a confirmation email. The fields are not stored in a website archive.
The company receives the data you enter (name, email, topic, message) solely to reply to you. The email service processes the communication according to its own privacy policy.
To protect the form from spam we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a verification service that distinguishes people from automated programs without image puzzles. Turnstile processes technical browser data and the IP address only for this check, does not use profiling cookies and does not receive the content of your message (policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy). The other anti-spam checks operate without profiling and without persistent storage of the fields.
4. Purposes and legal bases
Data from the communications received is used to reply to requests for information and collaboration. For requests related to a possible contractual relationship, the legal basis is taking pre-contractual steps at the data subject’s request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); for other communications, the legitimate interest in managing correspondence (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Any obligations required by law are based on Art. 6(1)(c). The form does not subscribe you to newsletters and does not ask for marketing consent. The privacy checkbox confirms you have read this notice, not consent to promotional purposes.
5. Providing data
Providing data is optional. Name, email and message are needed to send a complete request; without a valid contact address the company may be unable to reply.
6. Recipients and transfers
Correspondence received through the website is handled exclusively by the owners of the company, Pieroeugenio and Lorenza; no other consultant or third party directly accesses these communications.
The following technical providers are involved, limited to their own service: Google (the company’s Gmail mailbox, where messages are received); Cloudflare, Inc. (Turnstile anti-spam check, limited to the technical verification data); the platform hosting the website and delivering automatic emails.
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers of data outside the European Economic Area take place on the basis of the safeguards provided by Articles 44 et seq. GDPR: the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision) and the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, adopted by the company in its relationships with these providers.
Data is not intended for public disclosure.
7. Retention
The website does not store the form fields. Emails received are kept in the company mailbox for the following periods:
- General contact or information requests: up to 24 months after the request has been handled, after which they are deleted.
- Requests that become orders or business relationships: correspondence linked to accounting and tax records is kept for 10 years, as required by Article 2220 of the Italian Civil Code.
Longer periods apply only where necessary to comply with legal obligations or to protect rights in the event of disputes.
8. Data subject rights
In the cases provided by the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
You can send your request by email. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
9. Cookies and external resources
The form does not use cookies to store your message; the Cloudflare Turnstile check is loaded from an external domain and does not use profiling cookies. The website does not include, in its own code, marketing or behavioural analytics tools. Any technical features of the hosting platform must be checked separately.
Original images are loaded from an external content delivery service: loading them may share technical browsing data with the provider. There is no automated decision-making or profiling through the form.
10. Updates
This notice describes how the website currently works and the procedures confirmed by the company. It will be updated if the services or processing methods change.
